Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise known for its slow and controlled movements which help improve balance, flexibility and muscle strength.
Although Tai Chi was originally a martial art, this group practice is based on the teachings of Master Moy Lin Shin who adapted the Tai Chi moves to focus on the health benefits.
You will need to wear loose/stretchy clothing, and footwear needs to be flexible and very low/no heeled (eg old-fashioned plimsolls, but not sports shoes with chunky heels!).
We meet in the Corn Exchange Hall. The group starts at 10.15, with access to the hall from 10:00 (not before).
If you are interested please get in touch with the Group Leader via the blue envelope.
(There is another Tai Chi group in St Ives u3a, and they have a separate web page called Tai Chi Tuesday)
