As the title suggests, this group is for those who wish to walk at a leisurely pace and a fairly short distance of about 2 - 3 miles. We try to keep to paved areas during the winter month, eg The Thicket path, local villages etc. During the summer months we like to visit local nature reserves and the surrounding countryside.

Note that we currently have three walking groups:

• Country Walks - 6 or 7 miles every 4th Wednesday of the month
• Leisure Walks - 2-3 miles on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month
• Strollers - about 1 mile on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month
