What do we do?

We are no experts, but enjoy leading the group in traditional partnered dances, circle, long and square sets. You may know some of the dances from your school days! Remember the Gay Gordons, Barn Dance, Valeta, Circassian Circle, Stripping the Willow? These are some of the dances we try, but also some new ones: Bladon Races, Buttered Peas & Star Treking to name but three!

We introduce all dances with a demonstration (if we can get it right) and dance them at a steady pace. Don’t worry if you are on your own - there will be others who will join up with you as a partner and you will quickly make friends.

We ask you to bring a drink for the breaks we take during the morning, and we also ask you to provide us with a contact phone number just in case!

We have completed a Risk Assessment for our sessions which is available for you to see.

Soft shoes are needed, and a smile on your face! It’s fun…..

If you are interested, get in touch using the blue envelope link at the top of this page.
