We held an initial meeting and decided to go ahead, starting on Thursday morning, 4^th June.  The group will be led by Suzanne Lucas and Robin Carter, and will meet in Bluntisham.  We will follow the BBC Talk Italian course, supplemented by a variety of other materials and online resources.  We currently have 8 members keen to join but could take a few more if anyone else is interested.  Please bear in mind, that once a new language group has been going a short while, it becomes more difficult to join as a complete beginner, so now is the time to act if you’d like to learn Italian.  If you’d like to know more, please send an enquiry via the blue envelope.

Note that we currently have three Italian groups:

• Italian Beginners - started September 2025 but full. You can join the waiting list
• Italian Beginners 2 - started May 2026
• Italian Club - for members of at least intermediate level who have been learning Italian for two years or more.
• Italian Improvers has decided to close due to declining numbers and loss of venue
