Course Description
This course explores how food, appetite, and nutritional needs can change as we get older, and how to respond in a practical, enjoyable, and realistic way. Sessions combine short introductory input with group discussion and shared ideas. The emphasis is on understanding, confidence, and maintaining enjoyment of food rather than following rigid rules or diets. The course is not a substitute for medical or individual dietary advice.

- Share experiences and practical ideas in a supportive group

| 3 | Tue 10 November | Bones, Joints, and Key Nutrients Calcium, vitamin D, and a food-first approach. |
| 4 | Tue 24 November | Food, Mood, and Brain Health Nutrition's role in mood, memory, and cognitive wellbeing, and realistic everyday habits. |
| 5 | Tue 8 December | Eating Well When Cooking for One Motivation, portions, enjoyment, and the social side of food. |
| 6 | Tue 22 December | Digestion, Fluids, and Comfort Fibre, hydration, and common digestive concerns. |
| 7 | Tue 12 January 2027 | Labels, Trends, and Nutrition Noise Understanding food labels, headlines, and building confidence. |
