Science and engineering affect everyone

So our group is for everyone whether you have been a scientist or engineer during your career or just have an interest and want to learn more.

It's not Rocket Science- unless you would like to talk to us about it

The meetings are every 2nd Wednesday of the month 2-4pm, usually at a member's house in St Ives. Tea and biscuits are provided (small charge to cover expenses).

Usual format is a member gives a short presentation on a subject of interest, which leads on to a discussion. Other times science topics that have been in the news are discussed. We cover a wide range of subjects and their impact on people's lives, all the issues of the day including the environment, health and medicine, the latest technology in the home and in industry.

Currently the group is at capacity, if you are interested and would like to join the waiting list please contact either John or Margaret through the blue envelope logo.
