Strollers Group
Hello and welcome to the Strollers walking group. We are a sociable group offering a short walk for those who want to get out and about for a stroll around a country park, village or riverside walk at a very gentle pace.
The walk will be no more than two miles and often less, this allows everyone to walk together for safety, enjoying conversation and to stop occasionally to listen and observe the lovely surroundings.
At the end of the walk we enjoy some refreshments in a local cafe.
Roger and Sophie Brown will be leading the walks and provide guidance and a short safety briefing before setting off.
Please bring your walking poles with you or consider buying some as they make walking a lot safer and comfortable for all.

Note that we currently have three walking groups:
- Country Walks - 6 or 7 miles every 4th Wednesday of the month
- Leisure Walks - 2-3 miles on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month
- Strollers - about 1 mile on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month
