The preferred method for trip (or outing) payments is by BACS in order to avoid bank charges on cheques.

When you have a confirmed booking BACS payments can be made to our account as follows:

  • Ref: Your u3a membership number and trip (or outing) name

If you don’t have access to online banking you can ask your branch to make the payment over the counter using the above details.

If a cheque payment is your only option, cheques are to be made payable to:

When booking a trip that includes coach travel please say whether you will be joining the coach at The Rainbow (Co-op) or St Ives Bus Station. All coach trips include a gratuity for the driver.

Trip Cancellations and Refunds

Please note the following:

  • All the trips that we organize are costed carefully and we would be unable to meet our payment to the coach company and pay for entrance fees if we made refunds.
  • All trips to be paid for by the requested date .
  • No refunds will be made after this date if you cancel.
  • If you have paid and cancel prior to the requested payment date then we may be able to refund your money.
  • We will only be able to offer a refund if we have a waiting list and are able to fill the place.
