At our Members' Meeting we encourage speakers to tell us about a topic that interests them in a 15 minute time slot. This month we learnt about the village of Over and the 1947 floods,

Mr. Ernest John Hooley of Papworth Hall and his frequent insolvencies; the history of Buckden Towers; the reasons for the Rise and Fall of the Community Minibus; and Gifford White of Bluntisham who was transported to Australia for life for threatening to burn a couple of local farmers in their beds.
