This month Peter Cooper gave us a talk on Mapping. Peter began by telling us about the National Library of Scotland and how we can access all sorts of maps free of charge. He talked about large and small scale maps and he told us about his personal experience in using historical maps in studying local history. Peter brought a collection of maps with him for us to look at and he answered lots of questions at the end.
