A talk honouring the experiences of Tom Baker whilst a POW in Stalag Luft III, the scene of the Great Escape, and of the long march home.

Told by his granddaughter Helen Cooper, the daughter of Peter Baker the first chairman of St Ives u3a, she will retell his story recorded in his war diaries.  These accounts inspired compilation of the town’s Books of Honour and Remembrance.
