An evening of music and art. Don’t worry – no judging will be involved!

We will be hearing performances from our various musical and singing groups, interspersed with a few contributions from the Creative Writing Group.  We have also invited our art and handicraft groups to bring some samples of their work to display.

Doors will open at 6.30pm when Jazz Combo will be playing as people arrive, and there will be the opportunity to wander round and look at the art and craft work.  The programme will begin at 7pm when groups taking part will include Classical Guitar, Uke-Troupe, Jazz Combo, Singing for Pleasure, and our recently formed Signing Choir, supported by members from Guitar Club.  The Riverport Bar will be open for purchase of drinks, and during the interval there will be a further opportunity to take a look at the art and craft work on display.

The event is open to St Ives u3a members only. Any member taking part in the performance or bringing work to display can pay a reduced entrance fee of £3 but, to ease the burden on Sue who processes all the event bookings, group leaders have been asked to block-book tickets for their groups.
