The Trustees of St Ives (Cambs) u3a form the Committee, and they meet usually on the first Wednesday of each month at 10.00 am in the Golden Lion (see dates below).
Subject to the Chair’s discretion, other members of St Ives (Cambs) u3a are welcome to attend committee meetings. Please let the Secretary or Chair know you would like an invitation. You may be allowed to address the meeting, but this is at the Chair’s discretion.
The Trustees are ultimately responsible for how our u3a is run, including our policies, and make our major decisions.
The Trustees are formally elected each year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September.
A Special General Meeting (SGM) may be called by the Committee, or members, for a specific purpose.
