As usual in July we left the Free Church for an outdoor activity.

This year Peter Cooper met us at The Old Ferryboat Inn and then took us on a guided walk around Holywell. Peter pointed out the houses where some of the Fraser family lived (the painters we talked about in June).

We walked along Holywell Front learning about the early inhabitants and saw the Holy Well, before resting a while in St. John's Church. We continued our journey along Back Lane to the Ferryboat where we enjoyed a well deserved drink!
