I am Roger Beaman and I am very keen to set up a u3a Hill Walking Group.

Obviously, one thing Cambridgeshire lacks is hills and therefore any hill walking trips are likely to involve multiple nights away with accommodation arranged. They will also require a good level of fitness and good personal equipment (boots, waterproofs, rucksack etc). If you think a hill walking group fits well with your interests and abilities, then I would very much like to hear from you.

Once I know the level of interest, I will propose a walking trip, most likely to Shropshire. Cost of transport, accommodation and food will be on a shared basis.
