Contrary to the popular image of Richard Osman the group were united in their criticism of of the book. It was felt to be a confused plot, with too many characters, perhaps it would flow better as a film or TV . Was Amy the female James Bond? We didn’t feel it was particularly well written although there were some witty amusing bits but the ending was appalling.
